Dr. George Myers DVM
Dr. Myers graduated from veterinary school with honors in 1973 from the University of Illinois. He then completed an internship in 1974 at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital and then settled in the North Shore working in Andover for several years. In 1980, Dr. Myers bought Dr. River’s practice and started what is now known as the Danvers Animal Hospital.
Dr. Myers is an excellent diagnostician as well as a gifted surgeon. He is kind and compassionate, and is requested by many for his expertise! He is also a patient teacher and mentor to the entire staff at the hospital. He has practiced veterinary medicine for more than 30 years and believes in practicing excellent medicine with a caring heart!
When Dr. Myers is not caring for his clients, he enjoys
spending time with his family, wife Marian and sons Todd
and Justin. His animal family consists of Tasha a sweet
and goofy Great Dane and a cat "Sampson" that was adopted
from Strays In Need. He also enjoys running, hiking, gardening,
and photography. You can enjoy many of his photos, displayed
at the hospital. |

Dr. Caroline Balint DVM
Dr. Balint was a recent graduate from Tufts Veterinary
School when she came to work with us several years ago
. She
has a strong background and interest in working with birds
and exotics. Since her start at the hospital, she
has treated everything from guinea pigs to snakes, with
her favorite being the Crested Gecko. She enjoys
seeing the clients and all their interesting pets!
Her family includes her husband two children and a houseful
of pets: Arlo, a lab/shepherd mix, and Opie, Oompa, and
Vino, all domestic felines. Dr. Balint enjoys hiking
and camping and so does her dog Arlo. She also kayaks,
skis, travels, and is an avid equestrian. |

Dr. George Scott Teague DVM
Dr. Teague recently joined the Danvers Animal Hospital
family in July, 2008. He graduated from the Cornell University
College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He then completed
an internship in 1999-2000 at the Angell Memorial Animal
Hospital. Dr Teague spent a number of years after his internship
in private practice in Northborough MA. He and his wife,
who is also a veterinarian, recently moved back to the
North Shore where she is from. They plan on permanently
settling down in the area. Dr Teague originally grew up
in upstate NY where his family still resides.
Dr Teague has a strong interest in surgery and dental surgery.
He is also excited about most internal medicine making
him a very well rounded practitioner. He is very excited
to be able to provide great care and service to our patients
and their owners.
He has a crazy lab named Zoë as well as an aloof little
cat named Vegas. In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping,
cooking, vegetable gardening and the outdoors. He is also
trying to kick a nasty competitive rugby habit, but that
has yet to be seen. |

Dr. Holly Willard DVM
Dr. Willard has been practicing at the Danvers Animal Hospital for more than 10 years! She is a graduate of Cornell University, and the University of Kentucky, as well as Tufts University-School of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys practicing medicine for all species but she has a strong interest in feline medicine. What she loves about the Danvers Animal Hospital is its devotion to high quality medical and surgical work-ups combined with compassionate care to all the hospital’s clients!
Holly is devoted to her large family, which consists of
her husband and 3 teenage daughters! She also has a plethora
of beloved pets: Rosie, a lab mix, Greta, a German shorthaired
pointer, Daisy May, a beagle, and Felines: Krystal, and
Bugsy. She also has two horses
which she enjoys very much: Mr. Spock and Spring.
In Holly’s personal time she enjoys horseback riding, and gardening, as well as hiking and spending time with her family! |

Dr. Abigail Gray Smith VMD
Dr. Smith joined our family of veterinarians
in July 2005. She is a graduate of Middlebury
College and the University of Pennsylvania. She
recently completed an internship at Angell Memorial
Medical Center. She has a strong interest in
emergency medicine. She enjoys her new work family
as well as all the clients and their wonderful pets!
Dr. Smith has a Labrador-shepherd mix dog-named Haley,
a lab named Josie, and two cats named Radar, and Jack. She
enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and tennis in her spare
time. |

Dr. Elaine Bird DVM
Dr. Bird can be found at our hospital one weekend a
month. She is currently a full time Veterinarian at the
Feline
Hospital in Salem. MA

Dr. Mary Ellen Starble DVM
Dr. Starble is a graduate of Fitchburg State College and
Ross School of Veterinary medicine 05’. She
arrived at the Danvers Animal Hospital after completing
an internship of small animal medicine & surgery
in Chicago, IL. She was born and raised in Somerville,
MA and now calls the North shore her home.
Dr.
Starble has two cats: “Lefty” and “Mr.
Kitty”. Her interests include scuba diving,
musical theater, and travel. |

Dr. Danielle Pelletier DVM
Dr.
Pelletier joined our practice in the spring of 2008. She
is a graduate of the University Of Maine-Orono and Ross
University. She loves treating all species but
she has a strong interest in birds and exotic medicine.
Her
family includes her husband and their dogs “Talley” & “Austin”. Dr.
Pelletier enjoys NASCAR racing, horseback riding, as well
as running in her spare time. |
