I was very excited to join Danvers Animal Hospital as a Client Service Representative in July 2018. I graduated from the University of Maine, Orono with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, but I was born right here in Massachusetts. After college, I did an internship on a Kentucky horse farm, and then worked in doggy daycare before finding myself at DAH. I love animals of all shapes and sizes, but I hold a special place in my heart for guinea pigs and beagles, both of which I had as pets growing up. I live in Merrimac, MA with my husband Andrew and our dog, a chihuahua mix named Alben.
Our team of qualified Technicians and skilled Client Service Representatives are here to help you and your pet, as if you are family!
CVPM Practice Manager
My name is Amy and I am the Practice Manager at Danvers Animal Hospital. I was born and raised on the North shore and I attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. I started my career as a receptionist here at the Danvers Animal Hospital. I then moved into the field as a technician and in 1998 I took over the roll as Practice Manager. I bring 17 plus years of experience to the Danvers Animal Hospital and enjoy working with all our clients and their pets over these years. I recently earned my certification and became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager CVPM. I believe in the care and health we provide our community and I am honored to work with such a talented and compassionate team! I continue to be amazed by the joy that a human-animal bond can bring to someone's life. I share my home with one dog named Indiana Jones and three crazy Felines: Reece, Flo and Vivi, all rescues. I love to travel and hike in the outdoors and I enjoy the beach's of the North Shore. Come bye and say Hello anytime!
Head Client Service Representative
I came to the Danvers Animal Hospital as a client, and after 15 years in the Banking field, I made a change and joined the team as a Client service representative 20 years ago. I was born and raised on the North Shore and live in Beverly, MA with my Husband Steve and our 3 cats; Sara, Flurry, and Bruin. I have a son Jim and a grand-dog named Duke. I have enjoyed working with all the families that I have come to meet here at the hospital and watching all their pets and children grow. When I am not working I enjoy Bruins Hockey games and traveling.
CVT Head Technician
I am a certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and have been a technician at Danvers Animal Hospital for over 11 years now. I graduated on the Deans list from the Veterinary Technician program at North shore community college. I also hold an associate degree in Mathematics. I was born in Alabama but moved to Massachusetts 21 years ago. I have no siblings, but I am still very close to my family. The relationships I have developed, as well as my career and passion for helping and treating animals has aided in making MA my home. I love spending my free time with my friends as well as curling up with my animals; Tessie, Nala and Binx, to read a good book. Camping, bike riding, going to the movies and traveling are some of my biggest hobbies. My guilty pleasures include tap dancing class, dancing to 90’s hip hop music while no one is watching and Nicholas sparks movies.
Assistant Hospital Manager
My name is Kendra and I am the Assistant Hospital Manager at Danvers Animal Hospital. I joined the DAH family in January 2019. I have worked in the veterinary field for 10 years, starting as a high school intern and kennel technician. I received my B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Vermont and returned to the veterinary field after graduating, working as a client care coordinator and veterinary technician for many years. My foster failure dog, Harry, is often seen not far behind me and we love going to the beach when we’re not working. I love the New England Patriots, traveling, and going out with friends.
