David
Meet David, a new addition to the veterinary team at Danvers Animal Hospital.
David has a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare and a commitment to compassionate care! He has a career working across various facets of veterinary and shelter medicine. As a fear free certified technician who specializes in low stress handling, he strives to create low-stress, emotionally supportive environments for both animals and their caregivers—ensuring that every interaction is rooted in empathy, trust, and respect.
His background in shelter medicine and animal welfare has provided extensive experience in managing the unique medical and behavioral needs of animals in transitional environments.
In addition to his professional work, he is also a proud volunteer with The Street Dog Coalition in Boston, an organization that provides free veterinary care to pets of people experiencing—or at risk of experiencing—homelessness. David believes that this work reflects his belief that everyone, regardless of circumstance, deserves the companionship and unconditional love of a healthy animal.
David is continually inspired by the resilience of animals and the people who love them, and he is honored to play a part in improving their lives through medical care, advocacy, and education.
